The Division of Automatic Control at Linköping University has a vacant post-doctoral position in the area of navigation with elements of machine learning. The postdoc position is for a research project supported by Vinnova and Saab AB within Innovair Air Domain Study. The project is a cooperation project with academia and industry in Brazil. It is focused on the development of methods for navigation in GNSS-denied areas by fusing information extracted with machine learning from images with inertial measurements.
The applicant is required to have a PhD in Systems & Control theory or in a closely related field. Knowledge and experience of information fusion, statistics and machine learning is considered beneficial.
