📣 It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in MTNS 2026, the 27th Symposium on the Mathematical Theory of Networks and Systems!
📍 Waterloo, Canada | 📅 August 17–21, 2026
🌐 Previous recent locations: Cambridge, UK (2024), Bayreuth, Germany (2022), Hong Kong (2018).
🧠 The MTNS is a major conference in the area of mathematical systems theory, networks and control. The symposium, held every two years, is interdisciplinary and attracts mathematicians, engineers and researchers working in all aspects of systems theory and its applications. Mathematical methods which play a role in the areas mentioned above stem from a broad range of fields of pure and applied mathematics, including ordinary and partial differential equations, real and complex analysis, numerical analysis, probability theory and stochastic analysis, operator theory, linear and commutative algebra as well as algebraic and differential geometry. Application areas range from biology, communications and mathematical finance to problems in electrical, mechanical, aerospace and chemical engineering, and robotics ⚙️🛰️🤖.
📚 Contributions are invited in multiple formats, including mini-courses, invited sessions, contributed papers, and extended abstracts.
