Graduate Opportunities at Toronto Metropolitan University

I am actively seeking passionate students, who are interested in working in the Autonomy and Control areas, to join my research group in the Department of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering, Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). Graduate student opportunities are available (with guaranteed funding if admitted) in the following areas, among others:
- adaptive and learning-based control,
- intersection of control theory and machine learning, and
- applications of advanced control to robotics & autonomous systems.
Interested students are expected to have at least completed a course in control systems. Additional knowledge in optimization, robotics, mathematics and/or machine learning is also welcomed. Excellent verbal communication and professional writing skills are essential.
International and domestic students are welcome to apply for the PhD program. Only Canadian citizens and permanent residents (PR) of Canada (domestic) students may be considered for the MASc program.
