Dear Colleague,
We hope this message finds you well.
Following the success of invited sessions on Iterative Learning Control (ILC) and Repetitive Control (RC) at recent IFAC World Congresses and other major conferences, we are pleased to announce an Open Invited Track on “Recent Advances in Iterative Learning and Repetitive Control” at the IFAC World Congress 2026, to be held in Busan, Republic of Korea, August 23–28, 2026.
As an Open Invited Track, there is no upper limit on the number of papers (unlike traditional invited sessions). We warmly encourage contributions on theoretical aspects and practical applications of ILC and RC, combinations thereof, as well as connections and comparisons to related learning-based approaches including AI-based methods. If you or one of your colleagues are working on a suitable paper, we would be delighted if you could consider submitting it to this track:
• Track title: Recent Advances in Iterative Learning and Repetitive Control
• Code: drsv5
• Submission deadline: November 26, 2025 (please check the IFAC WC 2026 website https://www.ifac2026.org for updates).
We look forward to receiving your contributions.
With best wishes

Tom Oomen, Eindhoven University of Technology
