Dear Colleagues,
The 2025 WIRED Grid Resilience Symposium will be held in Calgary, AB, on 7-8 August 2025. The symposium offers a collaborative forum for discussing, analyzing, and advancing power grid resilience through technological innovation, research, and policy insights. This year’s program features two “Innovations Showcase” sessions. We invite participants from academia, national laboratories, utilities, and technology providers to submit their innovation to their preferred session.
Innovation Showcase: Posters on Transformative Research (August 7, 2025)
Researchers are invited to present their innovative research and developments in poster format. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, controlling the power grid under extreme weather conditions such as wildfires, cybersecurity of critical infrastructures, electricity/water/gas interdependence, and load demand management of large loads such as data centers. The session provides an opportunity to exchange ideas, inform stakeholders and policymakers, and facilitate technology transfer. The top three posters will receive special recognition during the symposium’s closing session.

Technology providers are invited to present their groundbreaking solutions in a lightning-round pitch session to leading industry stakeholders, academic researchers, and policymakers. Winners, selected by seasoned entrepreneur judges and audience votes, will receive complimentary sponsorship and expo packages for the 2026 WIRED Grid Resilience Symposium. PitchFest participants are also invited to showcase posters during the evening reception.
