We have openings for fully funded Ph.D. positions at Tennessee Tech's Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering in the interdisciplinary area of embedded hardware security, machine/reinforcement learning, and controls with application to connected and autonomous vehicles (CAVs).

Experience with embedded systems – including Linux, working knowledge of interfacing LIDAR sensors, cameras, GPS, IMUs, and other sensors, with NVIDIA based edge devices for neural processing.
Knowledge of implementing controls and reinforcement learning
Experience in data fusion to improve machine learning training models and the usage of GPU environment for training convolutional neural networks.
