At the Research Center Jülich’s Institute for Sustainable Hydrogen Economy, we have an open PhD position on the control of plants for chemical hydrogen storage systems.
Tasks include:
- Developing control concepts for highly dynamic and load-flexible plants of chemical hydrogen storage systems
- Developing control-oriented models of such plants in Matlab and Simulink
- Validating the control concepts on HIL and demo plants
Your Profile:
- Master’s degree in a field with extensive control curriculum, e.g., process, chemical, or mechanical engineering
- Knowledge of thermodynamics, thermal process engineering, reaction engineering – ideally in combination with plant modeling or control
