Travel awards and poster session at CPHS 2024

Dear CSS folks,

We would like to make you aware of two travel award programs designed for students and early career
researchers attending the CPHS 2024.

Thanks to an award from NSF’s CNS Division, we have funding to sponsor travel and registration costs for 15
students affiliated with US institutions to participate in CPHS 2024! Check out the Fellows page for details on how to apply!
We are pleased to announce that travel awards will be provided for selected students and early
career researchers. These awards will cover expenses related to the conference registration fees and hotel
lodging. Check out the Travel Support page for details on
how to apply and eligibility criteria.

The application deadlines are on October 1st 2024, 5pm (ET). Note that the program is also open to students who do not necessarily have a paper accepted at CPHS but would benefit from participating in the conference.

CPHS will also host a professional development event for job seekers in both academic and industry sectors. Please
refer to the poster session page for details.

We encourage all the eligible researchers to apply by the deadline!

Lastly, please consider volunteering to serve as a Mentor for the Fellows by filling out this form [https://forms.gle/iTWSRNZu14L9ArZJ6]. The program requires <3 hours total time commitment – feel free to share the link with anyone you think may be a good Mentor.

Deadline: October 1, 2024, 5 PM (ET). Open to all eligible students, even without accepted papers.
