One Doctor of Engineering position available in the Mechanical Engineering department of Lamar University.
Successful candidates would have a (strong) background in optimal control, predictive optimal control, learning-based methods, state estimation, optimization, autonomous vehicles, and mobile robotics.
Also proficient in MATLAB and/or Python programming.
Applicant to this position should already have completed (or will soon complete) a master’s degree in systems and controls or relevant area.
Expected Start Date: Spring 2025 Or Fall 2025.
