LPV embeddings/approximations for nonlinear controller design

dynamical systems and control.

Our working group "optimization-based control" is led by Prof. Karl Worthmann and consists of 14 members including currently 5 PhD students.
The basic salary is at least 2500 Euros/month (after taxes, already including health insurance and retirement provisions). Further benefits that, for example, concern family life or recreational activities are offered by the university.
Ilmenau is a small town with a university renowned for engineering and mathematical system theory. It features plenty of opportunities for leisure activities like hiking and biking and best living conditions at comparitively low prices (a decent apartment can be rented for about 400 Euros/month.)
