Northeastern University, China, is offering research student positions (at both the master's and PhD levels), available to international students. Successful candidates are expected to work with Professor Tengfei Liu at the State Key Laboratory of Synthetical Automation for Process Industries, and conduct high-quality research in the control and optimization of nonlinear systems and related topics. Eligibility

Requirements

Biography of Prof. Tengfei Liu
Tengfei Liu is a full professor at Northeastern University, China. He received his Ph.D. in engineering from the Australian National University, in 2011. From 2011 to 2013, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with a faculty fellowship at Polytechnic Institute of New York University. Since 2014, he has been associated with Northeastern University, China. His research interests include the control and optimization of nonlinear systems and applications. He has served as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, Systems and Control Letters, and Science China: Information Sciences. Dr. Liu is a senior member of IEEE.
