Topic : Evaluation and improvement of service rates in a network of clean hydrogen refuelling stations
Short description
The expertise of team PERSI (Perennisation of Industrial Systems is the modelling of multiphysics systems, diagnosis, prognosis and control using tools that take the advantage of power flows within the dynamical systems (Bond-Graphs or Port-Hamiltonian systems). Our applications are in the domain of energy, and specifically hydrogen fuel cells and electrolyzers running on Renewables Energy Sources (RES).
The goal of the thesis is
1) Increment an existing model of electrolyzer to obtain a dynamical model of a H2 refuelling station
2) From an existing data set, design stochastic models of renewable production and loads
3) Find health-aware predictive control laws for a H2 station running on renewables
4) Design the management of a network of multiple autonomous neighboring stations with optimal service rate
We are looking for students with a good background in control practice and theory, and a general knowledge in engineering.
