Are you looking for a PhD position related to power systems and/or control theory? Would you like to work in dynamic and international research environments and be in contact with experts from the Swedish electric power industry?
✨ If the answer is "Yes!", then we have two fantastic opportunities for you!
We have 2 Ph.D. positions open right now (see the links to the job ads at the end) for the project ADVOLCANO - "Adverse Voltage Controllers’ Interactions in Active Distribution Networks", led by RISE Research Institutes of Sweden in cooperation with KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Uppsala University in Sweden.
The 2 PhD students within the ADVOLCANO project will have the opportunity to work in close collaboration between KTH Division of Electric Power and Energy Systems (1 PhD), KTH Division of Decision and Control Systems, Uppsala University, Division of Systems and Control (1 PhD) and Electric Power System unit from RISE Research Institutes of Sweden. The project members will also be in regular contact with a reference group consisting of experts from the Swedish electric power industry: Svenska kraftnät (Swedish TSO), Ellevio (DSO), Vattenfall (DSO), Hitachi Energy Sweden and Dlaboratory Sweden.
Have a look at the detailed job descriptions through the links below.
