There are possibly multiple funded PhD positions available in the areas of autonomous systems, robotics, and control theory. These are located within the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department at Auburn University (https://www.eng.auburn.edu/). While located in ECE, prospective students in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, and applied mathematics are encouraged to apply. Research will span both theoretical as well as practical development, and include experimental validation with scale vehicle systems. The research is focused on reactive and safety critical systems, as well as multiple vehicle problems.
