We are looking for a new Assistant Professor in Automatic Control to join us at Uppsala University in Sweden.
The tenure-track Assistant Professor position is with the Division of Systems and Control at the Department of Information Technology. The division conducts research on various fields related to Automatic Control and Machine Learning. The current research directions invlude the fields of path planning in robotics, safety and security, biomedical systems, in particular therapy optimization and neuroscience, and environmental critical systems, for example, wastewater treatment plants.
The successful applicant is expected to build an active research group and strengthen the Department’s research and education in the area of Systems and Control. The ambition to build a new research group on any topic in Control Theory and Technology is encouraged.
The position is associated with funding for one PhD student and startup funds for conferences, networking, etc.
