62nd IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC 2023)
Call for Papers of Invited Session: Advances in Decision, Control, and Testing for Autonomous Driving (Submission Code: 7dh27)
The developments in automation and electrification are rapidly changing the automotive industry and transforming the way we think about mobility. The rise of intelligent vehicles, with the capability of fully or partially autonomous driving, presents new and complex challenges for the automotive industry in terms of safety, security, and sustainability. As these vehicles become more prevalent on our roads, it is crucial to find innovative solutions that can address the concerns and risks associated with this technological revolution.
The goal of this special session is to facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration and to encourage interdisciplinary approaches to addressing the challenges of future mobility. By bringing together experts from diverse backgrounds, the special session will provide attendees with a unique opportunity to gain insights into the latest research and developments in the field. The discussions will cover a wide range of topics, including perception, decision-making, planning, and control for connected automated vehicles, human-machine systems, advanced mechatronics, intelligent sensors, cyber-physical systems, safety, security, testing, etc.
Interested contributors are kindly asked to provide us with a tentative title, a list of authors, affiliation, and a short overview or a tentative abstract of their paper(s) by March 23, 2023. For more information see https://cdc2023.ieeecss.org/author-information/ or contact us at henglai.wei@ntu.edu.sg
