We are looking for one Postdoc to join our group and work on research topics related to resilience in large-scale control systems, with applications to electricity grids and/or water networks.
More specifically, the Postdoc will investigate new methods and algorithms at the intersection of control theory, optimization, and machine learning to tackle cybersecurity and resilience challenges in the context of large-scale dynamical systems. The main purpose of the project is to devise a coherent system-theoretical framework for resilience-informed monitoring and control of critical infrastructure networks, under disruptive events such as failures, breakdowns, natural hazards, and cyberattacks. The precise research direction may be discussed with and adjusted to the successful applicant.
This is a fully-funded Postdoc position for 2+1 years at the Division of Systems and Control, Uppsala University, Sweden. The Postdoc will join our group, the Uppsala Secure Learning and Control Lab, and contribute to our research environment.
If desired, the Postdoctoral researcher will have the opportunity to further develop themselves through the supervision doctoral students and teaching related courses.
