We offer one PhD position at the Institute of Automatic Control at the Leibniz University Hannover, Germany. The project will focus on (i) work within the project "roboterfabrik" (https://www.roboterfabrik.uni-hannover.de/) and (ii) research at the intersection of control theory and robotics, such as the application of optimization-based and/or learning-based estimation and control schemes to collaborative robots.
We offer a competitive salary according to the German pay scale TVL-13, including social benefits. The candidate is expected to hold a Master degree in control engineering / robotics or a related subject with specialization in control / robotics. Also, teaching assistance in bachelor and master level control courses is expected.
