An open postdoc position is available in my group at the Telecom SudParis, Institut Polytechnique de Paris. The initial offer is for one year, but with possibility for extension. The appointment is available from now – starting dates are flexible within reason.
The successful candidate will conduct research with me on topics of real time embedded optimization, optimal control and estimation. Particularly, I am interested in solving a convex optimization problem using firs-order splitting methods such as alternating direction method of multipliers. The optimization problem arises from control/estimation of uncertain systems with state and input constraints.
Applicants should have:
• A PhD degree with background in optimization, electronics, mathematics, systems & control, or related fields.
• An interest in rigorous mathematical investigations.
Applicants will be reviewed on a rolling basis and the position will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found.
