Applications are invited for appointment as full-time Post-doctoral Fellow at the Department of Electromechanical Engineering, University of Macau, to commence on September 1, 2023 for up to 2 years.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Control Engineering, Automation, Applied Mathematics, Mechatronics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related discipline. Holder of PhD degree for less than 2 years and applicants with doctoral degree award expected within 6 months upon closing of application will be considered;
The appointee is expected to work in one or more of the following areas: control theory, networked control systems, multi-agent systems, and complex networks. Research topics may include but are not limited to learning-based control, cooperative control, positive systems, robust control and filtering, UAV/UGV planning and control.
Applicants should be highly self-motivated, have excellent written and spoken English communication skills, and can work independently. The appointee will work under the supervision of Assistant Professor Jinrong Liu, and participate in collaborative multidisciplinary research. A taxable annual remuneration between MOP336,000 and MOP480,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The current income tax rate is effectively around 3% after various discretionary exemptions experience.
