A PhD position is available at the Laboratory of Robotics and Autonomous Systems (LaRSA, https://larsa.uqo.ca/) at UQO, Gatineau, Canada. This position is part of a multi institutional project involving UQO, McGill, and Queen's. The PhD student will work closely with the academic research team to develop novel estimation algorithms for visual-inertial simultaneous localisation and mapping (VI-SLAM) with application to UAVs. This position is an excellent opportunity to gain a strong theoretical background in control systems and robotics while gaining practical hands-on experience with autonomous aerial vehicles.
