An open postdoctoral position is available in my group at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. The initial offer is for one year, but with possibility for extension. The appointment is available from now – starting dates are flexible within reason.
The successful candidate will conduct research with me on topics of systems & control, optimization, and learning. Particularly, I am interested in leveraging the potential of so-called total positivity towards the study of large-scale systems, low-complexity modelling, learning and optimization methods, as well as their interconnections.
Applicants should have:
• A PhD degree with background in systems & control, mathematics, optimization, or related fields.
• An interest in rigorous mathematical investigations.
Applicants will be reviewed on a rolling basis and the position will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found.
