I'm looking to appoint a postdoctoral research fellow to work on a multidisciplinary project on navigation and localization in autonomous robots, till 31 Dec 2024.
The successful candidate will be expected to conduct original theoretical and computer-based research on this theme, and then help to implement the resulting algorithms on a robotic testbed. A PhD or equivalent qualification in the area of control, information theory, statistical signal processing or statistical learning theory is essential. It is anticipated that there will be opportunities to visit and collaborate with partner institutions in Boston, USA and in Australia.
The position may commence as early as Jan or Feb 2023, and will end on 31 Dec 2024. Salary: AU$97,558-104,717 p.a., + 17% employer superannuation contribution.
