PhD Position in model predictive control for compressor room control at Atlas Copco Airpower, Belgium with PhD program at KULeuven
The PhD position is part of the European Training Network ‟ELO-X – Embedded Learning and Optimization for the neXt generation of smart industrial control systems”. The European Training Network ‟ELO-X – Embedded Learning and Optimisation for the neXt generation of smart industrial control systems” brings together six research universities and five international companies from five European countries, on the topic of embedded learning- and optimisation-based control methodologies for next generation of smart industrial control systems.
This position is based on Atlas Copco premises near Antwerp in Belgium, and the PhD program will be executed at the Mechanical Engineering department of KULeuven. The aim is the design and development of tailored model predictive algorithms for compressor room control executable on constraint CPUs. Deadline June 30, 2021.
