The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at the University of Michigan is conducting a search for an open-rank, tenure-track faculty position in the area of Intelligent Systems. The search seeks candidates who conduct fundamental research in system-level techniques common to cyber-physical technologies, including (but not limited to) the areas of artificial intelligence, data science, control and decision theory, signal processing, sensing, and information theory. It is anticipated that a successful candidate will have developed a body of work in which civil infrastructures or environmental systems are a core application domain.
