There is an opening for a Post-Doc position at EURECOM located in the French Riviera.
The selected candidate will conduct fundamental, independent research in the broad area of real-time communication controlled networks. Topics include but are not limited to
- Multi-agent systems
- Fundamental limitations of networked control systems
- Game theory for controlled networks
- Feedback capacity of channels with memory
Required Skills:
- Degree from a recognized university (PhD/DPhil/Dr.-Ing. – completed or soon to be completed) in electrical engineering, computer science, applied or computational mathematics or related engineering or natural sciences
- Deep knowledge on at least one of the following research areas: information theory, computational mathematics, optimal control and Markov decision theory, theoretical foundations of reinforcement learning, optimization
- Strong publication record in top academic journals and conference venues (e.g., IEEE Transactions, Automatica, SIAM, IEEE ISIT, IEEE CDC, top ML conferences)
- Excellent analytical, technical and problem solving skills
- Organizational talent, excellent communication skills, and provable ability to work in a group
