Applications are invited for two PhD positions in the Department of EECE, University of Memphis, for spring 2023 and fall 2023 semesters.
Successful candidates are expected to carry out research in two or more of the areas: distributed control, learning based control, multi-agent systems and robotics.
Ideal candidates are expected to have: A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; Strong background in control theory, machine learning or robotics; Good programming skills; Very good verbal and writing skills in English.
Preferred: Experience in model-based or learning-based control theory; Multi-agent systems; Hands-on experience in robotic systems; Demonstration of research (conference or journal papers) activities.
