Dear Colleagues,
Within the 21st European Control Conference (ECC 2023) (https://ecc23.euca-ecc.org/) we are organizing an invited session on challenges related to cyber-physical systems from both theory and application points of view. Particular emphasis will be on how to deal with modeling, control, estimation, resilience, and privacy problems arising in such contexts characterized by large-scale, interconnected, complex, and uncertain systems. The topics that the session covers include, but are not limited to:
Theoretical areas
· Control and stability analysis;
· Networked control systems;
· Distributed optimization;
· Distributed consensus;
· Learning for control and data-driven methods;
· Machine learning for cyber security;
· Resilient control, state estimation, and monitoring;
· Cyber-attack detection and/or mitigation;
· Privacy-preserving communication;
· Distributed fault detection;
· Control/Network reconfiguration;
Applications
· Smart grids;
· Microgrids;
· Water distribution networks;
· District heating systems;
· Smart buildings;
· Electric vehicle charging stations;
· Autonomous vehicles;
· Swarm intelligence;
· Social interactions.
The conference will be held from June 13th to 16th, 2023 in Bucharest, Romania. The deadline for submitting papers to ECC 2023 is October 31st, 2023. If you would like to submit your recent results to ECC 2023 and are interested in exposing them within our invited session, please let us know at your earliest convenience by emailing us at "m.sadabadi@qmul.ac.uk". Then, interested contributors are kindly asked to provide us with a tentative title, a list of authors, and a short overview or an abstract of their paper(s) by October 17th, 2023.
Please note that, in order to submit your paper(s) to our invited session, you will need to receive a specific session code from us.
We look forward to hearing a response from you.
Kind regards,
