Post-doctoral Position Openings at Tsinghua University
Two post-doctoral positions are available at Tsinghua University, Beijing, in the field of Safety for autonomous driving.
Background
Associate Research Professor Hong Wang from Intelligent vehicle design and safety research center at Tsinghua University focuses on cutting-edge technologies research, such as Safety of The Intended Functionality (SOTIF), ethical decision making for autonomous driving and so on. At present, due to the research needs, plans to recruit 2 post-doctoral fellows in the field of Safety for autonomous driving.
Job description
We are seeking 2 Post-Doctoral Fellows to specific research directions, but not limited to:
(1), Research on Vehicle Control Algorithms;
(2), Research on Visual Perception Algorithms.

Person specification
The candidate should meet the following requirements:
(1), During the Ph.D. period, there is research experience in the related fields of control theory and optimization method research, etc; (2), The applicants who have obtained a doctorate degree or recently have passed doctorate thesis defense, a doctor’s degree successfully, are required to be under 35 years old.
Remuneration
(1), We provide basic post-doctoral salary and post-doctoral package treatment according to the criterion of Tsinghua University; (2), And the salary could be complemented by other funds including those from external sources awarded to the applicants from cooperative mentors on a monthly basis. (3), In addition, outstanding post-doctoral fellows could get the chance to apply for the "Shuimu Scholar" Program and rent a turnover house or receive rental subsidies with priority, and be prioritized to benefit from the Tsinghua University's policies of teachers’ medical treatment and children's admission to the kindergarten.
