PhD positions are available at the School of Engineering at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan Campus. The emphasis of this research is on data-driven modeling and control for safety critical applications. PhD positions are available in theoretical algorithm development and projects focusing on applications. Successful candidates are expected to develop and evaluate learning control algorithms and perform experimental validation of methods.
Requirements:
Motivated researcher with interest in learning control and algorithm development
- MSc in a relevant field of studies (e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering)
- Familiarity with control systems and background with control system courses is beneficial, MSc in systems and control is preferred.
- Candidates need to meet UBC admission requirements
PhD candidates will receive CAD 28.000 annually.
