Cosimo Della Santina and Pablo Borja are the organizers of the workshop "Energy-based modeling and control of mechanical systems: Theory and applications" as a part of the 61st IEEE Conference on Decision and Control. In this workshop, we want to cover recent developments, areas of application, and open problems related to energy-based methods for modeling and control of mechanical systems. To this end, we have seven speakers that will cover a broad range of topics.
