The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS) at University of Virginia is seeking highly qualified applicants for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate position.
Work will focus on control for microgrid resilience. Specific duties include developing and implementing control algorithms, analyzing system performance of the closed-loop system, attending research team meetings, editing manuscripts, and helping co-write manuscripts for publication. Incumbent will also receive support and mentoring in ways to improve research skills, the preparation of grant proposals, and responsible research practices. Project work begins in or after January 2023, and individuals are expected to begin work no later than Spring 2023.
