Launched in 2020, the Master 2 CNN is now recruiting for the academic year 2021-2022.
Master 2 CNN offers a balanced training between biological mechanisms that underpin brain activity, technological ways to measure and influence this activity, and mathematical means to model brain activity and process measured signals.
It is made of 6 courses, taught by experts in the fields:
- Physiological bases of neuroscience
- Neural bases of perception
- Methods for measuring and stimulating neuronal activity
- Machine learning
- Dynamical systems and computational neuroscience
- Closed-loop neuroscience, with application to brain-machine interfaces.
In the first semester, students are also requested to conduct a scientific project in an associated research lab or with an industrial partner.
The second semester is devoted to a research internship, in France or abroad.
The whole program is taught in English.
This training program primarily targets undergraduate students in engineering, physics, mathematics or computer science with a genuine interest for neuroscience. Students in biology are also welcome but their application files should demonstrate interest and abilities in scientific programming and/or mathematics.
University Paris Saclay awards scholarships to outstanding foreigner students: please contact us for more information.
