PhD Scholarship in Robotics
An exciting full funded PHD is offering at Padova University beginning October 2022 for 3 years (salary 2500 euros/month).
This opportunity is for students which finish their Master's degree by end of September this year, which have been outside Italy at least for two years in the last three years (so basically a foreign student willing to come to Italy would be perfect).
The student can also spend from 3 to 18 months in another one or more European Universities (depending on the topic chosen by the candidate), so the joint supervision let the student improve a very strong skill.
The main supervisor would be prof. Silvio Cocuzza from University of Padova, but other supervisors (depending on the involved universities) will be added.
Concerning the PhD project, this could be on Aerial Manipulation, Soft Robotics, Inspection&Maintenance rovers or we can find another topic of interest inside "Industry 4.0" and/or "Bioengineering" (so you could also propose some topic, see below for details).
