A Post-Doctoral Researcher position is available in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Houston. The post-doctoral researcher is expected to conduct research in areas related to data-based and physics-based modeling, identification, and control of energy, electro-mechanical, and biomedical systems. Additionally, he or she is expected to work closely with sponsors and collaborators, to initiate publications and new research directions, and to mentor Ph.D. students. Candidates for the position are expected to have a Ph.D. in Engineering with a concentration in systems modeling, data analytics, system identification, or control, as evident by a prior strong publication record in these areas. Prior experience with energy or biomedical systems is desirable, but not required. The Post-Doctoral Researcher will work closely with Drs.
