We have a new position postdoc open at the Australian Centre for Field Robotics (ACFR) at the University of Sydney, Australia.
The research project is on planning and control algorithms for multi-robot monitoring and intervention of large-scale spreading processes such as wildfires. We welcome applications from researchers with experience in robot planning, distributed control, large-scale systems, positive systems, reinforcement learning, and related fields.
The ACFR is Australia's largest robotics research organisation, with over 100 staff and students doing fundamental research in perception, planning, control, and learning and applied research in marine robotics, self-driving vehicles, mining robotics, agricultural robotics, and several other domains.
Position is 2-year fixed term, with a salary from AUD $95,047 - $131,639 + 17% superannuation.
