The Intelligent Networked Systems (IINES) group at Tampere University, Finland is looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the Academy of Finland-funded project Resilient Distributed Optimization for Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS).
The main task is to develop resilient distributed optimization and control algorithms for CPS under potential physical and cyber-attacks. The proposed algorithms will also be evaluated using distributed robotic system available in the networked robotics lab and Hardware-In-the-Loop simulation environment available at Tampere University cyber labs (https://research.tuni.fi/dependablesystems/cyberlabs/)
During the project, the Postdoctoral Research Fellow will visit for several months research groups in the United States and Japan for collaborations (depending on Covid-19 situation).
The position will be initially filled for a fixed-term period of 2 years with a typical starting salary of 3500 EUR/month. It is possible that the contract will be extended for another year. The earliest starting date is May 2021 or as mutually agreed.
